Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

EDIT: I'm streaming some Supernatural episodes tonight because

wants to watch and I need to catch up.  I MIGHT draw later...or go play my hunting game.  So if you're bored or want to watch, hop on over.

First off, thanks to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes and gifts!  83 It was a quiet bday this year, mostly spent giving ~Prailline a tour of my college, going out to lunch, playing with my rats, and doing donuts in her neighborhood in my chipmunk of a car.  Fun times lol.  And a quiet spring break too which I didn't knew I had this week until friday on my birthday when my handed my paper into my composition teacher.

Teacher: Oh and have a great spring break!
Me:......oh...that's next week?
Teacher: Yep!
Me:...........huh...-walks off stupidly-

So now I'm catching up on my Supernatural dvds (Sam wants me to stream them tonight lol) and being depressed over having no more books to read.  D: I must be the only one upset when I have no more books in the series or a series in general to read.  When I go to work, I look forward to my break just so I can keep reading.  Yesterday I sat there with just my ipod feeling so sad lol.  WHY MUST THE NEW DRESDEN BOOK NOT COME ON UNTIL APRIL!?

Oh and I had to deal with a mother f..ker who slipped on something in my line (that NO ONE told me was there) and was like "What's your name!?  If this swells I'll be back!"   Yes because I can constantly look over my giant register after every customer to make sure no jack ass has dropped something.  Fuck you and fuck the public.  I'm surprised I haven't run off to the mountains yet or brought in a gun at this point.  Oh wait..I need the interwebz that's why.  If he comes back and just tries to get me fired, I'm flipping shit.  8D Be sure to watch the news that night!

And finally, I keep seeing this game called Impressive Title.  I like random stupid games and the idea of being able to customize like I've seen from youtube videos looks neat.  However, I keep hearing the game is no longer working or whatever.  Anyone playing it now/know's what it's like/is it worth getting?

quiet birtdays are the best in my opinion x3 and at least u had fun and spring break has been quiet around here to lol and i get upset when i run outta books to read especially when i finish a series and kno there isnt anymore like with Anne Mcaffrey's books i own all of them lol and finished them all...so sad...and finished all of the books by some other authors lol and have got 2 other series to read now x3 yay bookes books bookes

and with Impressive Title it doesnt work for me anymore but it did indeed amuse me for awhile when it did...wish it still did oh well, take care ^^
