Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

New Forum and Goodbye Chipmunk

D: Goodbye Chipmunk and whatever extra spending money I have. Chipmunk being the Corolla my family has that I use as my main car. My dad has been searching around for cars that I could afford payments on (that and my brother is being a whinny bitch about not being able to use the car). So tonight he took me to a dealership to show me a used car that he found. o.o Neither of us expected what it would look like when they drove it over. It's a 2006 corolla S and was super well maintained. It looks new lol. Short story is tomorrow I'm going over with him to sign some papers and I'll finally have my own car!!

X3 I get power windows/locks (I never had em in the old corolla), a sunroof, more power (hence the chipmunk name for the other), and of course being able to start the car with the push of a button. So the next five years will be SUPER annoying money wise but hey, no more sharing a car with my family.

Yeah we got the one corolla because it would be the cheapest and not kill me with insurance payments lol. 83 The one I'm looking at looks like the owner really took care of it so it looks practically new. Thanks lol.
